Meet Our Team!

Nicholas Heigl

Nicholas Heigl

Nicholas Heigl is Forever Friends the Crematorium Supervisor, where he has been working since 2016. He has been working in the animal-care industry for six years and is certified by New York State. When asked why he chose this career, he said “I take comfort in knowing that I’m in a position to help people through what might be the most difficult experiences one can have, losing a beloved pet. Though my background in working in animal shelters, I was happy to be able to help people welcome a new family member into their lives, and now I’m able to help them through the process of ending their journey through life together.”

Nicholas has three pets of his own: a cat named Pickles and two rabbits named Ghost and Goblin. Outside of work, you can find him cycling, hiking, and playing with his pets.

Lynette McMahon

Lynette McMahon

Lynnette McMahon has been working in the animal-care industry for five years. First at Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Services and then at Forever Friends as a New York State Certified Crematory Operator.

Lynette takes comfort in knowing that she’s helping to bring families’ pets back home to them and help make the loss of a pet a little bit easier for the families during their time of grief. Lynnette has two dogs, Codi and Atticus. Outside of work, you can find Lynnette hiking, kayaking, geocaching, and camping.
